The Spiritual Voice

The Spiritual Voice podcast is a show about spirituality from all walks of life, designed with the inquisitive soul in mind. While we might feature a guest or two with backgrounds in Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen, or Taoism, from priests to psychics, these interviews don’t tread familiar ground. Our goal is to empower self-discovery and personal development by presenting useful practices, techniques, recommendations, and resources from a panoply of traditions, cultures, and sociological perspectives. Mysticism, Sufism, meditation, yogic, mantras & tantric traditions, alchemy, shamanism, divination, ancient wisdom traditions, angels, trance, God/god, art, tarot, psychedelics, minimalism, karma, spiritual pilgrimages, travel, the awakening process, and even a dominatrix are just some of the points of view we’ve brought to listeners interested in exploring how and why they believe what they believe. Host Pol Cousineau, a CPA, Marketing and Technology Expert, and Spiritual Health & Leadership Mentor, asks the big questions, getting his guests to offer up sometimes surprising and always inspiring answers. Jesse Field Call is a Licensed and Certified Heart Math Resilience Trainer. At the age of 5 he had an experience of a direct connection to his own heart that was to set the stage for his heart work later in life.  It wasn't until nearly 40 years later that he understood the spontaneous knowing that he had physical control over the Chi energy that originates from the heart.

How much influence can the heart have over your life? What about the lives of others? This interview is the perfect blend of science, spirit and personal experience!

When Jesse was out in nature at the age of 5 there was something that his him in his tracks. He told himself that he doesn’t know what this is right now and to remember this sensation as it will come in handy later in life. Much later in life when his mother passed away he was in the process of writing a book on the stages of recovery from addiction. This led him to get angry at God as well as go in a depression shortly.

As he was going into a downwards spiral he had a dream one night around 3 am. He jumped out of bed and walked into the kitchen… while still having a dream. There were three people in the dream, God, Jesus and a third figure that was perhaps Buddha. He got angry at God in his dream for taking away his mother. He didn’t hold back as he laid it thick. If this is how things were going to be run, he didn’t want to play anymore. Through all this what he remembers is the love that he could feel in the dream.

God responded by saying ‘Jesse you are exactly right. Change is coming and change will happen. Today we will start with you.”

Through this dream he was taught several fundamental things, one of which is the power of non-judgement. We spend so much energy on judging others, ourselves and our thoughts. Jesse decided to practice non-judgement for 30 days. This blasted open his heart. It resulted in tremendous healing and life shifts as well as learning the Heart Math path.

The heart forms before the brain forms. It is the area with which we interface with our bodies. When we connect with the heart we learn more than if we work through any other parts of our bodies. The heart emits a powerful magnetic field. Jesse explains how you can enter a state of resonance that allows you to be the best self that you can be. This impacts your creativity, thinking and body functions.

Jesse goes in more detail about the coherent state, that state of resonance which is optimal. When you enter this state the vibration you emit helps other people get in a harmonious state. What is amazing is that you can practice the protocols which will shift your state and activate the power of your heart in minutes… all backed up by a scientific background.

Listen to the interview to be guided through a practice to enter this heart coherence state.

Technique / Practice for Direct Experience

Jesse teaches you a quick technique to enter the coherent state.

  1. Focus your attention to the area of your heart. Imagine that your breath is coming in and out of your heart at the chest area. Breath at a comfortable rhythm that is slightly slower than usual. A recommendation is 5 seconds in and 5 seconds out. Make sure you focus on the heart area which is the most important.
  2. As you are breathing in and out of your heart area, make a serious attempt to experience a regenerative feeling such as attention or care for someone you like or a pet. You can also focus on experiencing the sensation of calm or ease.

Practicing this will help you cultivate a positive feeling. The more you practice it will become increasingly easier to shift into more positive states. This also increases your resilience level as well as your ability to handle stress.

By practicing this method for 30 days you will increase your resilience level.
